Ambon’s Natural beauty, Tour de Moluccas 2017 Appeal

InfoPublik – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan inaugurated the start and participated in the Tour de Moluccas 2017 cycling race in Maluku, Ambon, Sunday (9/17).

In his speech, Coordinating Minister Luhut said, the beauty of nature and peace in Ambon became an attraction for cyclist in Tour de Moluccas 2017.

"I think this event will be an interesting tour, 714 kilometers around Maluku. The clean, beautiful, and peaceful city of Ambon. Let us make cleanliness and unity as the theme of this event campaign," said Luhut.

Luhut added that many areas in Maluku are beautiful which can certainly be an attraction for the participants. Approximately 112 domestic and foreign participants enliven the first Tour de Moluccas.

Tour de Moluccas is a cycling race aimed to increase Maluku Islands’ tourism business. The route is hot mix asphalt route along Maluku Island and will last until 22 September 2017.

The racing route passes through three districts and one city, divided into five stages with a total distance of 714 km.
